Busy Maids Carpet Cleaning – Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Busy Maids Carpet Cleaning, a professional carpet and upholstery cleaning company operating in Welwyn Garden City and surrounding areas in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
By booking any of our services via phone, email, website form, or social media, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with booking.
2. Service Area
We provide carpet and upholstery cleaning services within a 25-mile radius of Welwyn Garden City, covering most of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
3. Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
You must provide accurate information regarding the property, parking access, and number/type of items for cleaning.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing on the day of service if the information supplied was incomplete or inaccurate.
Bookings may be confirmed via email, phone call, or SMS.
4. Access Requirements
Clients must ensure:
The technician has access to the property at the agreed time.
There is parking within reasonable distance (paid parking fees may apply).
Water and electricity are available at the premises.
If your property is on the third floor or higher without a lift, please inform us during booking.
5. Pricing & Minimum Call-Out
All prices quoted are inclusive of standard stain removal and deodorising unless otherwise stated.
Minimum call-out charge: £60.
Discounts may apply when multiple services are booked together.
Additional charges may apply for heavily soiled areas, high-risk parking, ULEZ access (if applicable), or extended travel beyond our core area.
6. Payments
Payment is due immediately upon completion of service, unless agreed in advance.
We accept cash, bank transfers, and card payments (SumUp).
If paying by bank transfer, funds must clear at least 24 hours before the appointment.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a £50 cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to reschedule services due to emergencies, illness, or uncontrollable factors.
8. Customer Satisfaction & Re-Cleans
Clients must inspect the work before the technician leaves.
If you are not satisfied with the results, we will attempt to resolve the issue immediately.
Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of service.
A re-clean may be provided at no cost if the issue is a result of our service.
Additional charges may apply if a re-clean is requested for new or unrelated issues.
9. Liability & Damages
Busy Maids is fully insured with Public Liability cover.
We are not responsible for:
Pre-existing damage or wear on carpets, upholstery, or curtains.
Fading, shrinkage, or colour changes due to fabric type or age.
Items not specified or disclosed at the time of booking.
Any damage caused by our technician must be reported immediately for resolution.
10. Health & Safety
Technicians follow strict hygiene protocols including antibacterial steam cleaning where applicable.
Our products are eco-friendly and safe for children and pets.
Please keep children and pets away from freshly cleaned areas until fully dry.
11. Data & Privacy
We are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with UK GDPR. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
12. Amendments
Busy Maids reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and apply to all future bookings.
